Power-Packed 4th Quarter — Jumpstarting Your 2027 Season
Fourth quarter has a certain energy to it.
Everyone's suddenly talking about finishing strong. Hitting the number. Jumpstarting 2027 before 2026 has even ended.
And there's nothing wrong with that energy.
Some of it is real momentum. Some of it is genuine excitement about what's next.
But underneath the planning and the projections, there's usually a quieter question most people skip past:
What if your next season doesn't look anything like the last one?
Not a natural extension of this year.
Not a bigger version of the same plan.
Not even something you could fully explain yet if someone asked you to.
And maybe that's the part worth sitting with.
Because we have become very accustomed to needing to know what's next before we're willing to move toward it.
We want the plan. The strategy. The timeline. The language. The five-year vision.
But sometimes, the next season doesn't arrive fully formed.
Sometimes you can sense that something is changing before you can name exactly what it is.
That's not necessarily a problem to solve before January 1st.
Sometimes, it's what it feels like when something real is forming.
Here's the part most people skip:
You're allowed to wait—as long as you don't disappear.
Waiting isn't the same as vanishing.
You can take the time the work actually requires, refining the offer, naming the thing, finding the language, without losing the thread that connects you to the people who are still watching, still listening, still waiting to see what you build next.
You can be quiet without being absent.
You can be uncertain without being inactive.
You can be in preparation without being in retreat.
You don't have to have the whole season figured out to begin preparing for it.
A power-packed fourth quarter doesn't require a finished plan.
It requires honesty about what's already working.
Clarity about what deserves to go deeper.
And permission to let the rest still be forming.
Maybe your next season will build directly on what you've been doing.
Maybe it will look completely different. Maybe you're not ready to announce it yet.
That's okay.
The goal isn't to manufacture certainty simply because the calendar is turning.
The goal is to pay attention.
Pay attention to what has energy.
What keeps coming back.
What you're no longer willing to carry.
What you've outgrown.
What you want more of.
And what might be quietly asking you to build forward.
2027 doesn't need your five-year plan today.
It needs you to keep building forward.
So, as you move through this fourth quarter, don't confuse the absence of a finished plan with the absence of progress.
